Tatiana García was born in Mexico City. She holds a B.A in Visual Communication from The Intercontinental University in Mexico (UIC), a Diploma in Film and gender studies from the Training Center of Cinema Studies (CCC) in Mexico City, a Professional Certificate in Film Producing from New York University (NYU), and an M.F.A in Media Production/Film Production from City College of New York (CCNY).

She worked as a freelance associate producer at MTV (Latin America) for six years before transitioning to film production. In 2007, she moved to New York. She has produced documentaries, features, TV, and digital content, and worked at the Tribeca Film Festival as a pre-screener.

Tatiana is an active Independent film producer between Mexico and New York, working on local and international productions. She also works as the Coordinator of the Producing Program at New York Film Academy. Additionally, she hosts a podcast called Negritud, dedicated to Afro Descendants' history and pride through music.

She has held roles such as Associate Director of Cinema Tropical and is currently a Radio Host for Convoy Network.
