Selma Rose is a German-Turkish director, writer, producer, and graduate of the Thames Valley University BA in Film Studies, Filmmaking, and the London Film Academy (LFA). LFA has produced filmmakers who have worked on productions such as Chernobyl, The Irishman, Game of Thrones, Green Book, Justice League, and Alien Covenant. She has also attended the London Script Consultancy and the Raindance Directors’ Foundation course. Rose has directed and written three short films in the UK and My Pearl, which was showcased at UCLA and selected for the Canadian Diversity Film Festival and Chandler International Film Festival. Additionally, she has directed stage plays in Turkey and Germany. Photography is another passion of hers, and she has a pipeline of feature film and TV pilot projects.
