Selina Ringel's most recent film, SINGLE MOTHER BY CHOICE, is streaming on HBOMax. She also directed the short documentary A VIABLE LIFE, which explores the making of her feature film during the 2020 pandemic.

Ringel is a writer, producer, and comedian who has collaborated with talent including Issa Rae, Lee Aronsohn, and Salvador Paskowitz. Her feature film THE BEST PEOPLE was picked up by Samuel Goldwyn Films and distributed worldwide. She recently joined the Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today program sponsored by HBO & The Academy.

Ringel graduated from the AFI Conservatory in 2014 with a Master's in Fine Arts from its Producing program, and is part of the Groundlings program.
