Ryan Shovey, a writer/director from Ocala, FL, was a fan of classic Universal Monster movies. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, Charlie Chaplin, and John Carpenter, he aimed to weave empathetic stories within horror aesthetics. Post film school in Orlando, he traversed New Orleans, finally settling in Los Angeles, CA. He improved his skills on more than a dozen short films. As a self-taught artist, he learned screenwriting to strengthen his storytelling and filmmaking abilities. His ambition is creating horror films where outcasts conquer their fears by embracing their darkness.
