Prem Santana is an award-winning filmmaker, actor, and artist. Her given name is Premstar (meaning love in Hindi), but she is known as Prem. She founded the Moonfaze Feminist Film Festival for four years, showcasing female-led films globally. She is developing multiple projects, including a feature film about the California gold rush from a non-heteronormative perspective.
