Peter is a former naval officer and archaeologist who wrote the supernatural thriller DEVIL'S GATE, which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and was popular on Netflix during the pandemic. He has written and rewritten feature films for producers such as Gianni Nunnari, Lloyd Levin, and Zack Snyder. His most recent writing project, TWILIGHT OF THE GODS, is an animated Norse mythology series for Netflix, for which he also served as the mythology consultant. He is also a mentor for the Writers Guild Foundation's Veterans Writing Project. He wrote Watchmen: The Art of the Film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: The Art of the Film, and The Art and Making of The Boys. He also penned the stories and screenplays for the console video games Watchmen: The End is Nigh and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. Additionally, his name is found on many products for a variety of tabletop RPG systems.
