Nina Martinek is an Australian/Czech writer and director. Her work has screened at Sundance, LA Shorts, Mannheim/Heidelberg, Edinburgh, Vienna, Toronto Women’s Film Festival, Brooklyn Art Museum, among others. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program. Nina worked as a documentary filmmaker for UNICEF in Africa and as a video producer/journalist for Reuters and the New York Times. Her recent film projects include "Happy Birthday Charlie", "What We Dream" (documentary), and "The Edge of the Mirror".
