Nena Erb, ACE, is a Los Angeles-based picture editor. Raised in an Asian immigrant family, she chose a different path than her parents had envisioned: instead of being a doctor or a pianist with the LA Philharmonic, she wanted to be like Andy Warhol. With an art degree, a friend brought her into the industry, and she began working in various production roles. It was her time as an associate producer that made her realize the power of editing, combining her love of photography and storytelling. Since then, she has edited projects for Warner Brothers, Apple, HBO, and more, and has earned two Emmy awards and three ACE Eddie nominations. Her latest projects include Downtown Owl and Joy Ride. Her parents no longer ask if she'll reconsider medical school.
