Melissa, a published author and aspiring film and TV writer, is dedicated to creating diverse and engaging narratives in supernatural and sci-fi genres. Holding a Bachelors in Political Science, she immersed herself in social justice and educational reform. She serviced rural Appalachia's Children Services, taught history to low-income students, and was an AmeriCorps Volunteer, raising over $1M for local immigrant and refugee small businesses. For a decade, she's been instrumental in two national education non-profits, coaching her team to raise above $100M to combat educational inequality in the US. Her political and social justice experiences greatly influence her storytelling.
