After graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, IL with a film degree, I relocated to LA to pursue a career in the movie industry. As a freelance editor for 20 years, I have edited films, documentaries, webisodes, industrials, music videos, commercials and more. In 2013, I won the Best Editing Award from the CineRocKom International Film Festival for LIBERATOR and in 2019, I was honored with a Best Editing Award from the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival for Medea. I have also written, produced and directed shorts A WRITER’S STATE OF MIND, THE PERFECT MAN and GOURMET, which won Best Micro-Short at the 2007 International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival. My latest short film, THE DEAD THAT LIVE, has won multiple awards on its festival run. Additionally, I created the website UnderexposedCinematicTreasures.com, which recommends unseen, underseen and forgotten movies.
