Mark has been writing since childhood, creating a handmade comic about a rabbit in outer space for his grandmother. As a teenager, he became obsessed with The O.C. and dreamed of moving to California.

Currently living in LA, Mark is a romantic who turns dreams into reality. His writing evokes emotions with surprising twists. He was a Notable Writer at the 2021 OutFest Screenwriting Lab and has had work featured by Canada's National Screen Institute.

Mark directed his first two shorts, which won awards in North American festivals. He worked as UPM on Kyra Sedgwick's Girls Weekend, which premiered at Sundance 2019. He recently produced his feature Outside, premiering at Cinequest Film & VR Festival 2021.
