Kristi Reed is a three-time Emmy-nominated casting and voice director in animation. She advocates for greater LGBTQ+ inclusivity in children's programming. Her work includes Steven Universe, which won a GLAAD award for Outstanding Kids and Family Programming in 2019, and Kipo & The Age of Wonderbeasts on Netflix, which featured the first main character to say "I'm gay" in an all-ages animated program in 2020. Upcoming series DeadEndia will feature the first transgender lead character in an all-ages animation. Reed currently works on projects for various studios, including Cartoon Network, Warner Bros., and Netflix.
