Joshua Schubart, a Long Island native, has been a professional actor for over a decade. After a difficult childhood of homelessness and foster care, Schubart took up acting in his teens. He studied at the Asolo Conservatory, earned a BA in Acting from Stony Brook University, and has acted in various roles, from indie films to the Metropolitan Opera, including recurring roles in Amazon's The Tick, Netflix's Seven Seconds, and HBO's High Maintenance. He's also voiced several Amazon Audible audiobooks.

Apart from acting, he is accomplished in stunts and stage combat, and co-founded the production company 2 Ladies & A Giant, under which he created the series .After about a grieving widower. A comic book fan, he hopes to work with Marvel and director Taika Waititi. Schubart, also a plus-size model, advocates for more diverse representation in the industry.
