Jonny Paterson is an LA-based producer and entertainment executive. He founded JP International Productions in 2014 and completed his debut feature "Halfway" in 2016, starring Quinton Aaron and Jeffrey DeMunn. The film was nominated for the Discovery Award at the British Independent Film Awards in 2017. In 2019, he joined Confluential Films as Head of Development and Vice President of Television before transitioning to a first-look producing deal in 2022. A native of Scotland, he holds a bachelor's degree in English literature and history from the University of Leeds and a master's degree in entertainment industry management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a BAFTA Los Angeles Newcomer Award recipient and was an invited participant at the 2017 Berlinale Talent Campus. From 2010-2021, he served as a non-Executive director on the board of UK-based charity Football Aid, raising money for Type-1 diabetes research.
