Jonathan Skurnik has written and directed one narrative feature and five shorts. He has produced award-winning documentaries for over 20 years, including PBS broadcast credits. His recent documentary "Becoming Johanna" aired in 2021. Skurnik serves as Chair of New Day Films and teaches at UCLA and Chapman University.
Jonathan grew up in NYC and created many award-winning social issue PBS documentaries. He now plans to focus on comedy writing and directing, reflecting the experiences of contemporary American Jews.
