Jamal Wade is a director, choreographer, and movement coach for film, music videos, dance, and theater. He began dancing on scholarship at the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre and studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Jamal's collaborations include work with Josh Dean, Ambre, and Ari Lennox. His portfolio features projects for Lady London, Tinashe, Sevyn Streeter, and Willie Jones. Wade was nominated for Video of the Year at the CMT Country Music Awards for his work on Willie Jones' "American Dream" video. As a queer Black artist, Jamal aims to empower minorities and amplify underrepresented voices through his art.
