Iman Ahmed is an Egyptian-American writer with a background in playwriting. Her work explores identity and family dysfunction, often examining the intersection of socioeconomic class and marginalized ethnic groups.

BANNED, her Off-Broadway play, premiered at Theatre Row in 2021. Iman has participated in writing fellowships, including The Orchard Episodic Lab, UCB Diversity Fellowship, and Writers Guild Initiative Workshop. She was a finalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab and Austin Film Festival.
