Elysse Applebaum is a 2022 WGA Writer Access Project Honoree for her dark comedy pilot Good Mom. She was previously a story editor on the Hallmark series Good Witch and wrote the teleplay for One Perfect Wedding. Born in Orange County, she studied Cinema & Television Production and Creative Writing at USC before getting into scripted television. Her early roles include showrunner's assistant on Brothers & Sisters (ABC) and various positions on shows like Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings (Netflix), The 100 (CW), Marvel’s Inhumans (ABC), and Good Girls (NBC).
