Elmer J. Howard is a Maine native filmmaker who aims to change the world with each production. His first short, Loving Martin, tells the true story of love, loss, and hope. His current short, Kings & Queens, explores themes of identity through a lesbian's journey in the local drag community.

Awards: 11 won in 2019. Early passion for filmmaking began at age 13, working on short films that entertained family and friends. Elmer started as a craft services assistant on the Disney film Flubber with Robin Williams and later returned to filmmaking in 2010 through Phoenix's independent community.

Elmer founded Thrive Productions in 2010. His goal is to tell stories visually, impact his audience, and challenge their beliefs while entertaining them.
