Desiree is an award-winning producer/director from Namibia. She has worked in the industry for over 12 years, including as performer, actress, creative director, and playwright.

She produced, wrote, and directed "A Lifetime of Blues," which won best set design at the Namibian Film and Theatre Awards 2014. Desiree also collaborated with Vickson Hangula on film sets like "Fish Out of Water."

Her debut film, "The White Line," premiered internationally, winning several awards, including Best newcomer director, Best film script, Audience choice award, Best cinematographer, and Best Feature Film at the 7th African Emerging Filmmakers Award.

Desiree is an alumna of Talents Durban 2018. Her film was submitted to the Oscars and Golden Globe, with consideration for the 94th Academy Award in the General category. She was also nominated Best first film by a director at the Africa Movie Academy Awards 2020.
