Cherrelle éLan is a dedicated advocate for change in Hollywood. She combines activism and art, using her voice as an actress and director. Born in D.C., she attended The Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Howard University, and Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communications. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, she assisted Vice President Kamala Harris during a 2013 visit to Los Angeles.

Cherrelle began her career behind the camera, pitching story ideas and assisting producers for PrimeTime and 20/20 News Magazines. She received a Peabody Award for conducting interviews on 9/11. She is inspired by Black culture and uses her platform to tell stories yet to be heard.
