Candace is an award-winning writer and producer based in New York. She has worked with Comedy Central, Netflix, The Meteor, Color of Change, and more. Her pilot, Girl of the House, won Best Screenplay at the 2023 Essence Film Festival and her writing has placed in several competitions, including the 2021 Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship, 2023 Inroads Fellowship, and The Black Boy/Girl Writes Mentorship Initiative (two years in a row). As Senior Copywriter for Cashmere Agency, Candace wrote witty and engaging copy for clients such as BET, BET+, VH1, Showtime, and Max. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College, where she studied Film with a concentration in Screenwriting.
