Bulent Gurcan immigrated to the US in 1997 at age 21. He joined the US Army and served two tours in Iraq before pursuing higher education. He earned degrees from UT El Paso (2006) and Northwestern State (2008), becoming a Border Patrol Agent in 2006 and a Customs Officer in 2008. Gurcan worked 11 years as a federal agent under Customs & Border Protection. In 2018, he appeared on Naked & Afraid with 13 episodes on the Discovery Channel. In 2020, he co-founded Bellem Entertainment with Tonia Kempler. They formed Entangled Entertainment in 2021, producing award-winning films and reality shows across various formats and genres.
