Alex is a WGA LGBTQ+ writer known for adapting big emotional character stories into exciting genre narratives. She is adapting her short story SHOOT DOWN THE SKY, rewriting a feature script for Mike Flannagan, and developing series STRAYS with Mike Moore for Berlanti and WBTV. Other projects include a limited-series adaptation of BROKEN GIRLS with Simone St. James, a TV series based on a graphic novel, and a reimagining of the SyFy show THE MAGICIANS.
