Aaron grew up in the San Fernando Valley and was inspired by his grandfather's career in comedy. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Film Studies and became a television writer, holding stints as a Writers' Assistant on several shows including 24, Ghost Whisperer, and Mike & Molly. He has also developed projects with Netflix, Disney, and Viola Davis' production company, and sold a feature film about Sasquatch. Aaron now holds an M.F.A. in Screenwriting and teaches screenwriting courses at various institutions.
